Accessing the website

When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (so-called server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, your IP address and similar.

This automatically transmitted information is processed in particular for the following purposes:
Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website, ensuring the smooth use of our website and
Evaluation of system security and stability.

The provision of this data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without the IP address and the cookie identification, the use and functionality of our website is not possible or guaranteed. In addition, individual services may not be available or may be restricted.

In principle, this data is automatically deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected. In some cases, this is already the case after the end of each session. However, in the event of concrete indications of illegal use, we reserve the right to subsequently check the server log files via our hosting provider. For the operation and maintenance of our website, we use technical service providers who act as our processors in accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO.

The processing around the technical provision of our website is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO on the basis of our legitimate interest in the presentation of the company and the associated improvement of the stability and functionality of our website.

Data protection information on the recruitment process

Depending on the position, different employees will have access to the data you share during the application process. Apart from HR staff, this will include managers and, in some cases, individual members of the relevant departments. If the data is provided to the team members, it will be anonymised by the HR department and personal data such as address, date of birth, salary expectations, etc. will be made unrecognisable.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Some data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. An informal communication by e-mail is sufficient for the revocation. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The competent supervisory authority regarding data protection issues is the State Data Protection Commissioner of the federal state in which our company's registered office is located. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that your web browser stores on your end device. Cookies help us to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Some cookies are "session cookies." Such cookies are deleted automatically at the end of your browser session. On the other hand, other cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them yourself. Such cookies help us to recognise you when you return to our website. With a modern web browser, you can monitor, restrict or prevent the setting of cookies. Many web browsers can be configured so that cookies are deleted automatically when the program is closed. Disabling cookies may result in limited functionality of our website.

The setting of cookies that are necessary to carry out electronic communication processes or the provision of certain functions desired by you (e.g. shopping cart) is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and smooth provision of our services. If other cookies are set (e.g. for analysis functions), these are dealt with separately in this data protection declaration.

Web analysis with the help of Google Analytics

Web analytics (also referred to as "reach measurement") is used to evaluate the flow of visitors to our website and may include behaviour, interests or demographic information about visitors, such as metadata, age or gender, as pseudonymous values. With the help of reach analysis, we can see, for example, at what time our site is visited and which content is used most frequently. Likewise, we can understand which areas need optimisation. Due to our holistic marketing strategy, we have decided to use Google Analytics for reach measurement and web analysis, which acts as a processor for us in compliance with legal requirements. The service provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, parent company: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; website: marketingplatform.google.com/intl/en/about/analytics/; privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

For the purpose of range measurement and web analysis, anonymous user profiles are generally created and stored in a file (so-called "cookies") or similar procedures are used with the same purpose. The stored/analysed information and content may include, for example, content viewed, websites visited and elements used there and technical information such as the browser used, the computer system used and information on usage times.

The IP addresses of users are also stored. However, we use an IP masking procedure (i.e., pseudonymisation by shortening the IP address) to protect users, whereby the IP address is shortened beforehand by Google within the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. In general, no clear user data (such as e-mail addresses or names) is stored in the context of web analysis and optimisation, but pseudonyms. This means that we as well as the providers of the software used do not know the actual identity of the users, but only the information stored in their profiles for the purpose of the respective procedures.

The collection of data for web analysis is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit a DSGVO, which you can revoke at any time with effect for the future: www.unidy.de/privacy-policy
